| Qualification for National Pairs from February 2nd |
We have just been advised that all our duplicate sessions (including mutiple teams of 4 tables+) in the fortnight February 2nd to 15th will double as qualifying heats for the National Pairs. Any pair scoring 55%+ will be invited to play in the regional final (a double session commencing at 11.30am) which will be played online on Sunday 23rd March. Please see EBU website for further info.

| New Wednesday morning Face-to-Face Session |
We are planning to run a level-2 face-to-face session on Wednesday mornings starting on 5th Feb. The session will run from 9:30 to 12, will cost £3.50, and will comprise 18 boards.

Wednesday 5th - 1st trial morning session at 9.30am. Reduced table money and 18/20 boards.
Wednesday 19th - KCBA Larsky Cup Semi-final at 7.15pm. Final is 29th March 10.30 at Maidstone.
Sunday 23rd - Sunday afternoon DupliCAKE at 2.00pm.
Monday 24th - Abergavenny Cup (annual Spring Pairs Championship) at 7.15pm.
Wednesday 26th - 4th Wednesday non-NGS pairs at 1.30pm.
The calendar on our website has been updated for events up to 31st March 2025. Of particular interest may be Andrew Robson's visit on Wednesday 12th March. Lists will appear on our noticeboard shortly.

As you maybe aware we had the honour of hosting the EBU Premier league Division 1 at our club on 28th/29th September.
One of the players participating was Tom Townsend who is Bridge Correspondent of the Telegraph newspaper . In the attached article today he has written some lovely comments about our club and provided a very interesting hand from the Premier league.
